Lucky me, the Grand Prix come to Mammoth on one of the busiest weeks. I’ve finally found time after a 2hr nap and 23 days of straight work to sit down and actually do more than not respond to SIA appointment emails and let my mom know I’m still alive.

To my utmost disappointment – I missed pretty much ALL of the GP because re-re’s decided they wanted to “try” snowboarding. Yes, i had a few epic lessons with kids who could shred but for the most part i could’ve been a bit more productive at the bottom of the pipe watching Danny, Greg, and of course Shaun slay the Duper Pipe. Luckily i got an afternoon off and snagged my camera just in time to get a few shots

I went against my routine of being in bed by 10:30 on Saturday night and went out where i was quickly bombarded with Bud light girls, douche bags, and pretty much everyone you try to avoid on the sun deck. to my surprise Shaun White, Danny Kass and Louie Vito decided to have a party night. it was like a sexy dream sunday for me….anyways.

Once again Louie comes up in another one of my blogs being that he took a magnificent 2nd in the event only to the Pipe King himself (penis joke) Mr. Shaun White.

Myself and roommates don’t noooooormally follow such events so avidly, but seeing as a good friend of ours, Greg Bretz, was competeing…we had to make sure the baby boy had our support. After qualifying third to Vito and Lago, Greg sadly finished sixth. FUCKING STOKED. Not first but hey-how many of your friends competed…exactly. Nonetheless, all of us here in Mammoth are stoked for our boy and wish him nothing but the best of luck in comps to come.
